AFD assists Montauk with a working structure fire

The Amagansett Fire Department was called out to Montauk on June 16, 2026 at 22:17. Originally called for RIT, Amagansett was put to work upon arrival. The fire on Gravesend Avenue which was controlled quickly by Montauk was made worse by a ruptured gas line.
