This is a message from the Suffolk County Department of Fire Rescue and Emergency services on behalf of the Suffolk County Police Department. The following roads will be closed this Saturday, June 25 from 6AM until Noon. Rosevale Avenue from Pond Road to Southern Boulevard. Ocean Avenue from Expressway Drive North to Rosevale Avenue. Smithtown Boulevard/Portion Road from Rosevale Avenue to Ronkonkoma Avenue. Lakeshore Road/Pond Road from Portion Road to Church Street.

Our annual chicken BBQ is Sunday August 21st from 2-6 at the firehouse, 439 Main Street. Tickets are $30 for Adults and $20 for children. The Amagansett Fire Department held a drill on Thursday March 29, 2018. The department staged a motor vehicle accident on Napeague Meadow Rd for the volunteers. Fire police closed the road while the firefighters extricated victims for the EMS personnel to treat.
